Class Action Woes a Possibility for RCI Again?

Class Action Woes a Possibility for RCI Again?

The timeshare board on consumeraffairs.com has once again been run over with complaints about RCI (formerly, Resort Condominiums International), the self-proclaimed “world’s expert in exchange vacationing.” RCI is no stranger to consumer complaints, referring of course to their simultaneous two class action suits it faced in 2006 for renting out weeks to the general public instead of leaving them available for exchange for their members, among many other charges. The complaints range in date from today, all the way back to May of 2007, covering the span of 18 pages and close to a hundred subject matters. Such topics are discussed as having your reservation canceled and your money returned only after calling and asking about it by Georgina of California, not being able to use points by Brian of Alabama, and even promises of free gifts, only to pay out instead by Susan of Connecticut. RCI is currently celebrating their one year anniversary of their court settlement.
